McHENRY – The North McHenry Relay for Life Committee will host the Concert for the Cure Aug. 18, with co-sponsors Stade’s Farm and Market, WZSR-FM Star 105.5 and WWYW-FM, or Y103.9.

The daylong event at the farm, 3709 W. Miller Road near Johnsburg, will start at 8 a.m. with a 5K trail run and one-mile fun run.

The concert series will begin at noon with six acts: Alexis Chancellor, Western Sky Band, Rough Night Out, Kevin Purcell and the Night Burners, “American Idol” top 10 finalist Gina Glocksen, and headliners Modern Day Romeos.
