BOURBONNAIS – Brian Urlacher returned to training camp Saturday, albeit in a Bears floppy hat instead of a helmet.

Urlacher, 34, watched practice from the sidelines after missing several days because of what the team described as personal reasons. Urlacher did not speak to reporters after practice, instead hopping on a golf cart for a ride to the locker room.

Bears coach Lovie Smith said he was not certain when Urlacher would be able to return to practice. Urlacher badly sprained his left knee in last season’s finale, but he said he felt 100 percent healthy when he arrived to Olivet Nazarene University.
