McHENRY – A Laps for Love Fundraiser for Collier House will be from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. Saturday at the Knox Park Pool. The public is invited to stop by and cheer on the members of Collier House as they swim laps to raise money for the organization’s building fund. Admission is free.

Collier House also will collect old cellphones for Cell Phones for Soldiers, and food for the local pantry.

Collier House is being created to honor Army Spc. Collier Barcus of McHenry who was killed in action July 8, 2004, in Samarra, Iraq, and to honor others who gave their lives.
