MCC as you’ve never seen it
CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College is getting a fresh look as officials try to set the two-year college apart from others ahead of a major expansion push.
The rebranding includes a new logo, color scheme and marketing campaign to be rolled out this fall. It will change everything from campus signs to athletic uniforms and the college’s website.
The goal is to make MCC a top choice for students rather than a fall-back school. Officials hope it will help correct misconceptions in the community about what the college offers and distinguish it from for-profit colleges and other public community colleges, said Christina Haggerty, MCC’s director of marketing and public relations.
