Man arrested in sex assault case
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office sent out a SWAT team, including its tanklike mobile armored rescue vehicle, in a sexual assault case Tuesday morning.
The armored vehicle – used in standoff situations – accompanied deputies serving a search warrant at the home of Scott Wurtz at 2712 N. Sterling Drive, just south of Johnsburg.
Wurtz, 44, was arrested on suspicion of criminal sexual assault, unlawful restraint and battery.
