Library creates new discussion group for Gen X, Millennials

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

The Algonquin Area Public Library has designed a new discussion group for young adult suburbanites.

The new group, called Reel Editions, is a literate, unorthodox new discussion group for participants in their 20s and 30s. While attending, individuals will have the opportunity to gossip about edgier films and favorite books, or chat in-depth about TV shows and videogames.

This library program takes place in Café Firefly at 301 S. Main St., Algonquin.  Joining with Café Firefly to use its space allows this program to be a leisurely library experience in a social environment.

The group will meet at 7 p.m. on the following dates: Aug. 28, Sept. 25 and Oct. 23.

For information, call the library at 847-458-6060.
