MCC learns study on pay was flawed
CRYSTAL LAKE – The McHenry County College board learned this week that it has been relying on a flawed study while working to overhaul pay policies for more than 300 college employees.
The study is important because the board agreed last year in a deal with its largest employee union to use the study’s data and recommendations to set future pay ranges.
Board members spent more than an hour in July going over the Compensation and Classification Study page by page as they debated its conclusions.
