Trendy Tots celebrates store anniversary by giving back

CARPENTERSVILLE – The force behind the consignment shop Trendy Tots decided to give back to the community as she celebrated the one-year anniversary of the store.

Tammi Rojek, a Huntley mother of four children who created Trendy Tots at 7020 Huntley Road to save families money on baby gear and children’s clothes, marked the store’s first anniversary Saturday with a community service project – collecting diapers and nonperishable food for FISH Food Pantry in Carpentersville.

“There’s people in this area who are in need, and I like to tie a community function into throwing parties,” Rojek said. “When we are having an anniversary party, there’s a lot of traffic,
and it’s a great time to collect.”
