Our view: Voters left with 1 choice
It could have been a simple question. Then it was almost two questions.
Now we’re back to one question for McHenry County voters about whether they’d like to significantly change the county’s form of government after the County Board on Thursday voted, 16-3, against placing a competing referendum question on the November ballot.
McHenry County voters elect their County Board members by district. Once those members are seated, they elect their own chairman.
