Police: Alcohol reason for crash
LAKE IN THE HILLS – A Lakewood woman under the influence of alcohol lost control of her vehicle, struck a parked car and ended up in a yard, authorities said.
Requa Amend, 45, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving on a sidewalk and improper lane use.
Amend was driving a white Hummer in a residential area near Thunder Ridge and Harvest Gate about 9:30 p.m. when she drove off the road and struck a parked car, according to the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
