Riverside Plaza developer explains about-face on apartments
ALGONQUIN – If a plan to convert Riverside Plaza from condos to rental apartments goes through, the residential units will have GE appliances and designer finishes, among other features, the developer said.
John Breugelmans of Lakeland Asset Management gave insight into his plans to turn Riverside Plaza into high-end luxury apartments during a recent presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
With the housing market struggling, developers of Riverside Plaza want to build 69 smaller rental units instead of the original 54 owner-occupied condos.
