Aug. 25: MCCD offers Lost Valley Venture program
The McHenry Conservation District will offer a Lost Valley Venture program from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road, Ringwood.
The family exploration programs include a nature lesson, game and activity based on this month’s topic: butterflies. If weather allows, participants will go for a short outdoor exploratory hike with staff, so dress appropriately.
No registration is required, and all ages are welcome.
