Jackson impresses Sveum, Cubs still lose

CINCINNATI – Cubs rookie Brett Jackson is impressing his manager – even if he made a big blunder on the basepaths.

Xavier Paul led off the ninth inning with a pinch-hit triple and Ryan Hanigan followed with a single Sunday, giving the Cincinnati Reds a 5-4 win over the Cubs.

Jackson doubled off Aroldis Chapman with one out in the ninth but was caught stealing third base.
