Wonderful event
To the Editor:
What a ceremony! I attended the “Keep The Spirit of ’45 Alive” event on Aug. 12 at Veterans Park in McHenry.
Thanks to Ron Bykowski, who not only organized this event, but emceed it and was part of the 18 buglers who played and echoed taps, which sent chills through my body as 21 white doves of peace were released.
