Aug. 31: LITH Summer Sunset Festival
The Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset Festival will be Aug. 31 through Sept. 2 at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, Lake in the Hills.
The event will feature a parade, carnival, live music, arts and craft show, games, car show, Summer Sunset Expo, Sunset 5K run/two-mile walk, food and fireworks.
Hours are 3 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Free admission.
