CARY – Bond has been set at $50,000 for a Cary man accused of touching a 14-year-old girl in a sexual manner.

Christopher E. Lane, 40, is charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.

After his arrest Sunday evening, Lane remained in custody Monday afternoon at the McHenry County Jail. He must post $5,000 to be released.

Lane is accused touching the girl, whom he knew, and himself while showering with her July 30.

His next scheduled court date is Friday.

Aggravated criminal sexual abuse is a Class 2 felony, typically punishable by three to seven years in prison.
