Helpless animal
To the Editor:
This is in response to the article about the 25-year-old fourth-grade Chicago teacher, Derek Fierro, who punched his dog to death because the dog had an accident and would not get into the bathtub to be cleaned off.
Just when I think I have heard the worst that can be done to a helpless animal, this story comes along. I am sickened and disgusted by this teacher’s behavior. I can only imagine how that poor dog felt while it was happening.
