To the Editor:

I would like to add my opinion about the Little League that plays at the VFW in McHenry. As I travel with my wife, we commonly visit the local VFWs, as my wife and I are veterans of World War II. On this trip, we stopped at the McHenry VFW. After lunch, we noticed there was a Little League game going on, so we sat in the stands and watched the game.

To our horror, one of the coaches berated, picked on, and treated poorly all of the members of the team. To our amazement, the coach started to berate and yell at some of the adults. Also, I would like to add that this coach yells at his kids to steal bases when the plays have obviously ended.
