To The Editor:

On behalf of the Woodstock Career Firefighters Local 4813 and the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Woodstock and nonresident contributors for their gracious support in our recent “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The overwhelming support we received helped us to exceed our goal of $3,000 by a significant margin. Despite the immense heat peaking at more than 100 degrees, members of Local 4813 and the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District collected more than $10,000 to benefit MDA!
