Race proceeds go to Gilberts Elementary
CARPENTERSVILLE – Registration is open for Gilberts Elementary first "Race for the Gold 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run" on Sept. 23.
Proceeds from the race will go toward the Gilberts Parent Teacher Organization's efforts to build a larger playground at the elementary school. District 300 students, parents and residents are welcome to participate.
