Rotary Club to host ‘Rock N Pop’ pub crawl

EAST DUNDEE – The Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning will host its third annual Rotary Pub Crawl from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday through the streets of downtown East Dundee and West Dundee.

Proceeds will benefit charities and operations of the Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning.

The “Rock N Pop” themed event will feature food and drinks specials, and entertainment. Crawlers in costume will compete for $500 in cash prizes. A separate door prize raffle featuring a Kindle Fire and other prizes will be held.

Participating bars include Diamond Jim’s, 325 Meier Ave., East Dundee; the (New) Pour House Bar & Grill, 102 N. River St., East Dundee; Dylan’s Pub, 101 W. Main St., West Dundee; and Bikini Bottom Bar & Grill, 105-107 W. Main St., West Dundee.

Tickets cost $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and are available at participating pubs and through Rotary Club members. Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. at either the Diamond Jim’s or Dylan’s Pub.

The crawl will end at Bikini Bottom Bar & Grill, where the party will continue and prizes will be awarded. A free finger food buffet will be available at the final location.
