CL police: students hit the books; obey safety laws

The Crystal Lake Police sent out the following alert through Nixle messaging system:

"Schools are back in session. Please watch for students and obey speed zones and cell phone restrictions.

High School District 155 started today, Monday, Aug. 27, and School District 47 starts tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 28.

Please watch for students walking. Please be ware of school speeds zones and as a reminder it is against the law to use your cell phone for talking or texting in a school zone.

Help us keep the youth of Crystal Lake safe."
