Can’t be trusted
To the Editor;
Ken Koehler says we ought to trust him because he knows what is best for McHenry County. He says we should not elect our County Board chairman or change to a county executive form of government. Unfortunately, I cannot trust Ken Koehler for many reasons, and here are some of them:
1. He and the County Board have raised property taxes every year, even this year, when there is a $47 million surplus, and the board’s own rules indicated that no increase was necessary.
