Mr. and Mrs. Lahey
MARENGO – George and Dorothy Lahey of Marengo celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 19 with family and friends at the Woodstock Moose Lodge. The event was hosted by their children.
Dorothy Jean Murry and George Patrick Lahey were married Aug. 18, 1962, at St. Domitilla Catholic Church in Hillside. They first lived in Bellwood after they were married.
He was a pipefitter for Chrysler Corp. in Belvidere until he retired Oct. 1, 2006.
