D-300 Class of 2012 breaks new records
CARPENTERSVILLE – District 300’s most recent graduating class made significant strides in academic performance, setting the district record for the highest average ACT composite score and exceeding state averages in other academic measures.
In 2012, district students scored an average ACT composite of 21. The mark was above the state average of 20.9 and just shy of the national average of 21.1.
The 2012 graduating class also had more students earn higher scores on advanced placement tests than the state average, and a higher percentage than the national average of district students who planned to attend college.
