LAKE IN THE HILLS – A change may be coming to the residential development plans at The Lakes of Boulder Ridge.

Plote Homes is proposing to convert 24 planned duplex lots into 37 single-family lots at the southern end of the development. The change would be on 8.5 acres near the corner of Frank Road and Algonquin Road along Coyote Lakes Circle.

“Sales have been slow for the duplex units, and the developer has received indications from potential residents of the desire for more single-family detached options,” Community Development Director Dan Olson said in a memo to the Village Board.
