McHenry County stations received tainted BP gas
More than a dozen BP gas sations in McHenry County received tainted gas from BP's Whiting, Ind., refinery.
BP said once identified, each location was instructed to immediately stop selling the off-spec fuel and to properly clean out their tanks and dispose of the material.
BP said it has fixed the problem at the Whiting refinery.
BP posted online a searchable database with the addresses of the retail sites that received off-specification gasoline.
