New group to offer
support to amputees

McHENRY – John Ramoska, a Wonder Lake amputee, is taking upon himself the matter of support for others who have lost limbs.

Ramoska is the founder and president of Whole Life Amputee Support, a nonprofit group whose mission is to encourage and assist people in northern Illinois whose lives have been or will be affected by amputation.

Whole Life Amputee Support will host monthly support group meetings for amputees and close friends and family members to discuss the practical and spiritual resources for moving forward.
