Young sisters lead Huntley golfers past Jacobs in FVC
HUNTLEY – Golf must run in the Young family genes. Sisters Gabrielle and Gillian Young are dominating for Huntley this season.
Gabrielle was medalist Wednesday with an 8-over-par 44, a stroke ahead of her sophomore sister, Gillian (45), to lead Huntley to a 180-210 Fox Valley Conference win over Jacobs at Pinecrest.
The Young sisters led a strong Huntley showing: Danielle Smith shot 45, and Lorin Gorecki shot 46.
