I agree wholeheartedly with the Aug 25 article, “Mother praises hospice care.” Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois are truly the “angels at your side” that Bernice Ferraro described them as.

Our nonprofit organization, Hospice Dreams, has had the privilege to grant dreams for three of HPNI’s hospice patients. Bernie in Wonder Lake watched his old 8mm family videos again; Ray in Crystal Lake went fishing and picnicked with his wife; and Shirley in Wonder Lake gave her daughter a graduation party.
