League of Women Voters to explain redistricting
CRYSTAL LAKE – The League of Women Voters of McHenry County will host “Redistricting – What it Means to You” on Sept. 10.
The presentation will be at 7 p.m. at the Crystal Lake Library, 126 W. Paddock St.
Recent remapping of congressional districts in Illinois has changed many of the choices citizens have for candidates in November and in future elections. The speaker will be Mary Schaafsma, interim director of the League of Women Voters of Illinois.
