Our view: Expedited hospital review needed
We are disappointed that rival hospital companies have filed legal challenges to the state’s approval of the Centegra Hospital – Huntley project.
Because of the importance of this $233 million project to southern McHenry and northern Kane counties, we urge an expedited process to review these challenges.
Illinois is a certificate of need state, meaning health care providers must demonstrate that a need exists before the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
