9/11 memorial car to be displayed
HARVARD – A 9/11 Memorial 1972 Plymouth Fury police car will be displayed Sept. 12 on the Harvard Diggins Library plaza area, 900 E. McKinley St.
The car was restored by law enforcement Officer Don Otto, who lives in Harvard. The Plymouth Fury model was used by law enforcement and other rescue and fire personnel for many years. This car is special because it serves as a memorial to the 343 first responders who died in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001. The names of these heroes are inscribed on the vehicle. For information, call 815-943-4671.
