Green Drinks group 
to meet at Duke’s

CRYSTAL LAKE – The public is invited to Green Drinks McHenry County from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen, 110 N. Main St. in Crystal Lake.

Field organizer Seth Johnson with the Environmental Law and Policy Center will speak about federal policies and regulations, and what residents can do to engage legislators.

Johnson works on clean air, clean water and high-speed rail issues in Illinois and Ohio. He previously worked as an intern with the White House Council on Environmental Quality, U.S. Green Building Council, U.S. Green Building Council – Illinois Chapter, and the Office of U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin.
