McHenry man faces battery charge after entering home

McHENRY – A McHenry man upset over a previous incident forced his way into the man’s home and punched him in the face, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Vincent P. Dunn, 18, was charged Thursday with felony home invasion, misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property after a incident that sheriff’s deputies described as drug related.

Authorities responded to the 3100 block of Bull Valley Road after the father of the victim stated that a man had entered his home without permission and struck his son in the face, according to a news release.
