To the Editor:
In regards to the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s passing, I agreed with Andy Childs that Elvis died too early, for Elvis had much to do. As a fan, I came to respect all that he achieved.
But also how he was. He never forgot all that his parents did for him. He kept his home in Memphis, where fans can now see it. He never lived up to someone else’s image of him.
