Sun City plans event to commemorate 9/11
HUNTLEY – A number of events are planned in Sun City in connection with the 9/11 American Flag Memorial.
At sunset Friday and Saturday, taps will be played by the American Legion.
On Sunday, the short films “9/11 Narrative,” “Richard’s Story,” “Daily Flag Retreat” and “The Boatlift” will be shown at 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. at the Fountain View Center in Sun City. Taps will be played at sunset by the American Legion.
