To the Editor:

Do you remember the name Joseph Goebbels? He was Adolf Hitler’s Nazi propaganda minister and has been said to say, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

That motto has become the Republican Party battle cry as it tries to win the White House. Everything is fair game; questioning President Barack Obama’s birth right to be our elected leader, to Obama’s “gutting” Medicare of $716 billion, which has been thoroughly debunked by every credible authority on the matter.
