Bret Mooney considers a certain former Purdue linebacker as his role model.
So the summer before Mooney was to attend Jacobs High School, he listened to the linebacker’s advice.
“My dad [Keith] is my role model,” Mooney said. “He was always telling me to get my name out there with the coaches. I did everything I could, working hard in practice, to do that.”
