Police: Man uses stun gun in Woodstock armed robbery

WOODSTOCK – Police are searching for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a local gas station.

Police responded to the Shell gas station at 110 N. Eastwood Drive at 4:33 a.m. Monday after it had been robbed by a man with a stun gun, police said in a news release.

A store employee told police that a masked man entered the store and demanded money with the stun gun.

The employee described the suspect as a male with a deep voice who stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighed about 210 pounds, and was wearing all black clothing. Witness were unable to describe the man's race, Woodstock Police Sgt. Chip Amati said.
