Candidates’ tax returns
To the Editor:
Why the preoccupation and media frenzy about candidates tax returns? Two of our greatest presidents – George Washington and Abraham Lincoln – were virtually at opposite ends of the economic spectrum. Washington was the richest president ever, and Lincoln one of the poorest. Both turned out to be rated as great leaders.
I say, publish the returns, review the returns, and then focus on what is critical.
