Feds indict ex-deputy in child sex case
ROCKFORD – A former McHenry County sheriff’s deputy has been indicted on federal child sex abuse and pornography charges.
Gregory M. Pyle, 37, has been in federal custody with no bond since his second arrest Aug. 14.
He is expected to enter a not guilty plea during his arraignment today on charges of traveling across state lines to engage in a sexual act with a minor and using a minor to engage in sexual conduct to produce child pornography.
