Dangerous vans
To The Editor:
A dangerous situation has developed in our local school transportation system. Untrained and inexperienced teachers are taking over the job of driving our children to after-school events in school-owned, 16 passenger vans.
Twenty-nine states have enacted laws or regulations prohibiting the use of this type of van for transporting public school students to and from school and school-related activities.
