9/11 observance in Johnsburg

JOHNSBURG – The annual “9/11 Remembrance Flags of Johnsburg” will be on display Tuesday with installation at 9 a.m. and retrieval at 7 p.m.

The American flags display, paid for through anonymous public donations, will be directly across from the Johnsburg fire station, on the property of the First Midwest Bank in Johnsburg.

At the morning installation and the evening retrieval, there will be a few brief words, a prayer and a moment of silence – all dedicated to the almost 3,000 victims killed in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
