HARVARD – Community leaders in Harvard will join others in hundreds of locations across the nation in a show of support for teen drivers Sept. 15 .
Car crashes are the No. 1 killer of American teens, according to the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and their first year on the road as new drivers is the most dangerous. With this in mind, State Farm is debuting a driver-safety program called Celebrate My Drive.

The event is free and open to the public.
Community members can show their support for Harvard High School by voting for the school to win a $100,000 grant at celebratemydrive.com from Monday to Saturday. State Farm is giving away 14 grants.
