Killing-related trial set for Dec. 3

WOODSTOCK – A woman charged in connection with the 2011 killing of a former court security officer now will go on trial a week after her husband.

The charges against Kimberly A. Smith, 30, include prostitution and obstructing justice. Her trial has been postponed from Nov. 5 to Dec. 3 because of defense attorneys’ scheduling conflicts, Assistant State’s Attorney Michael Combs said.
