Nominations sought for Woodstock Community Hero Awards
WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Moose Lodge and Family Center No. 1329 will host an open house Nov. 3 that will be followed by the sixth annual Woodstock Community Hero Awards.
The open house will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. and the awards at 8 p.m.
The awards include firefighter of the year (nominated by the department), police officer of the year (nominated by the department), teacher of the year (nominated by the public), adult youth leadership person of the year (nominated by the public), citizen of the year (nominated by the public) and outstanding youth of the year (nominated by the public).
