Heart for animals

To the Editor:

Please join us at our Keep Them Safe Microchip and Adoption event from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Four Legs Pets, 133 E. Higgins, in Gilberts. This is a rain-or-shine event so, if it rains, visit us inside the store.

Don’t let your pet become a lost pet statistic. An ID tag along with a microchip is your safest bet for getting your lost pet returned to you safely. Get tips to keep your pet safe from Lost Dogs Illinois. Rescues will be onsite. Come meet adoptable dogs and cats!

A Heart For Animals is a no-kill, nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization. We are a foster-based animal rescue and believe that all animals deserve a chance to have a loving, forever home.

We are a volunteer-only organization (no paid staff) and rely on the commitment and skills of our volunteers to carry out our mission. Please consider volunteering or fostering to help us save as many lives as possible. Visit our website, www.aheartforanimals.org, to find out more about us, to submit a volunteer application, or to learn about how rewarding fostering can be and to complete a foster application.

Thanks from A Heart For Animals, where our volunteers truly do have “a heart for animals.”
