Helping homeless
To the Editor:
The church emergency homeless shelter season is starting. Several churches house and feed up to 70 of our county’s homeless each night, October through April. McHenry County PADS, a division of Pioneer Center, lists the churches on this website: mchenrycountypads.com.
The churches are separate, but work in conjunction with PADS. Money donated to PADS helps its operating costs.
