Chamber of Commerce celebrates National Chamber Week

The Huntley Chamber of Commerce has a litany of events scheduled this week to celebrate "National Chamber of Commerce Week."

To kick start the week, the chamber is hosting open office hours until 5 p.m. today to allow residents and business owners to see everything the Huntley chamber has to offer for the community. On Tuesday, the chamber will host a business mixer. The group will conduct a membership drive later in the week.

The Huntley chamber currently has more than 300 members. The organization is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The complete schedule of events for National Chamber Week is listed below:

Open office hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Multi-member mixer from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Advanced Office Services, 40W980 Powers Rd.

President and multi-chamber executive directors quarterly meeting at 11:30 a.m. at the chamber office, 11704 Coral St.

Membership drive by phone from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to educate owners on the benefits of a chamber membership

Village President Chuck Sass and the village trustees present chamber officials with a proclamation during the regular Village Board meeting at 7 p.m. in Village Hall, 10987 Main St.

Chamber officials hit the street to do a membership drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Chamber members participate in the village's Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
